Crab fry chettinad style
Crabfry chettinad styleIngredientsCrabs 3 to 42 medium onion,garlic cloves 4 or 5,ginger 1 tsp grated2 medium tomatocurry leaf fewgreen chilliSpices required:Powder the spiceCinnamom 1 small stickcloves 2 or 3pepper powder 1 or 2 tsp as per ur taste budDrymasalachill pwd 1 tspcorainder pwd 1 tsphaldi 1/2 tspFor seasoning2 tsp oil 1 dried whole red chilli (broken). Rai 1 tsp.Heat oil in frying pan add Rai, red chillies & onion fry until the onion starts to turn light brown. Now add ginger garlic cut pieces add curry leaves then add the chilli, corainder, haldi and fry ..then add crabs cover and cook after sometime when the crab changes the color add tomatos It takes 10 minutes to cook. Add spice pwd , cook for 1-2 minutes and turn of the heat.This goes really well with rice .Notes and TipsDo not cook for long after adding the spice powder. You can use coconut oil fry seasoning instead of any other oil to add extra flavor.
