Dahi VAda For VAda Black gram(Urad dal) - 1 cup Salt - 1/2 tsp onion 1 cut into pieces Oil for deep frying
For curd mixture:- Yogurt - 1 cup REd chillies - 2 - 3 nos Salt - 2 tsp Oil - 1 tsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves - 1 sprig Corainder leaf few to decorate
Method for Vada
Soak black gram for 4 - 5 hrs. and grind into smooth paste add onions and deep fry the vad..Beat the curd n mix well..Heat oil in a small pan or kadai. Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves red chilies. Pour it over the curd. Mix well. Drop the prepared vadas in it and use when it is fully soaked. decorate with corainder leaf....serve it chill or hot..
