Chicken Briyani





Chicken 1/2kg
marinate chicken with yoghurt 1/2 cup,
turmeric 1 tsp
chilli pwd 1 tso
corainder pwd 3 tsp
ginger garlic paste

Basmati rice - 2 cups
canola oil - 2 tbsp
spices - cinnamon 1", cloves - 4 cardamom pods -3 , bayleaf -3
curry leaves optional
chopped tomatos 2
sliced onion 1 big
green chilli , ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
mint leaves 1/2 bunch
chopped corainder leaves 1 small bunch
lime juice one small lime

Marinate chicken pieces with masala ginger garlic and yoghurt and lime juice. heat oil or ghee in a pan add onion fry till brown add ginger garlic and green chilli paste...when raw smell goes add tomatoes and fry till the tomato cooks and oil sperates add the marinated chicken pieces and cook ..add 2 cups washed basmati rice , mint leaves and coranider leaves and water 3 cups and keep for 2 whistles until the rice cooks.....

optional can add the chicken gravy with half cooked basmati rice in a rice cooker ...
tasty yummy briyani ready...
Briyani is always been my favourite and cant stop making it ...

  5. oh yeah it’s the easiest way; however,often try the elaborated style of making traditional malabar dum biriyani also :))
