Goan Vegetable CAldeen


Carrot 1 cut in cubes
potatoes 2 cut in cubes
beans cut into small pieces
cauliflower 1/2 cup
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
green chilly 4
onion 1
corainder leaf half bunch
coconut fresh 2 tbsp
salt per taste
oil 1 tbsp
greenchilly /corainder leaf for garnish
2 tbsp coconut milk


Directions | Vegetable Caldeen

Grind to a fine paste the coconut ,corainder leaf ginger garlic green chilly .

Heat a pan add oil sauté onion ,garlic and ginger paste, add the coconut paste once the onion turn translucent

fry for a few minutes until the raw smell disappears .

Heat a pan sauté the veges until half done n add to the gravy n cook well..add coconut milk and simmer the gravy

Just give a boil once u add coconut milk and remove from fire .

garnish with coriander leaf n green chilly


Serve with White rice....

* can substitute chicken or fish fillets...
